About WSA — Wealth Starters Academy
About Wealth Starters Academy

Practical money and enterprise education for a changing world.

Wealth Starters Academy helps young people develop the knowledge, judgement and practical experience needed to manage money responsibly and think entrepreneurially. Our progressive programmes turn financial and business concepts into decisions, calculations, research, ideas and enterprise projects.

Preparing young people for decisions they will face beyond the classroom.

As young people grow, their financial decisions become more complex — from saving and spending to banking, income, credit, borrowing, independent living and enterprise. WSA gives students a structured place to explore those decisions before the consequences become real.

Our purpose is not simply to teach financial vocabulary. It is to help young people use what they learn.

Our Mission

To equip young people aged 7–19 with practical financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills that prepare them to make responsible money decisions, recognise opportunities and develop ideas with confidence, creativity and sound judgement.

Two connected strands, taught together at every age.

Financial Literacy

Understanding and managing money

Students learn to understand and manage money through age-appropriate work on earning, spending, saving, budgeting, banking, interest, credit, debt, risk, fraud, financial products and preparation for independent living.

Entrepreneurship

Recognising and acting on opportunity

Students learn to recognise problems and opportunities, research customers, develop ideas, calculate costs and pricing, create brands, plan marketing and sales, operate enterprise projects, track results and pitch their work.

A curriculum built around progression, not a one-off workshop.
